Jari Arkko is a Senior Expert with Ericsson Research. He has also served as the Chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the Internet technology standards development organisation, from 2013 to 2017. He has published 45 technical specifications (RFCs) at the IETF. He is a frequent speaker in numerous Internet technology and policy conferences, and has worked on diverse topics ranging from compilers to security protocols, from routers to Internet of Things, and from software engineering to mobile networks and 5G.
